The Ritto company presents itself entirely in the service of comfort and safety and sells its innovative and proven technologies here in the eibabo® shops of eibmarkt® under this guiding principle. The products fall into the field of communication technology. Ritto supplies door or office intercom systems, mailbox systems or video surveillance systems that are optimized for private and commercial use and are always functionally oriented to practice. The products combine function and form in an impressive way and impress with their extraordinarily high quality and simple operating concepts. With the possibility of quick and clean installation, a maximum of flexibility and efficiency is achieved in use. Ritto was founded in 1976 as a company of the Friedhelm-Loh group of companies. In the 1990s, it developed the TwinBus standard, a predecessor of the KNX standard. The special feature was that, in contrast to conventional device control, the switching technology was separate from the power supply. With an interposed actuator, the voltage supply to the end device could now be controlled individually, depending on the source (e.g. different sensors) from which the actuator received a command. This combination created synergies that connected different trades, such as heating, shading and lighting. Despite the competition from the stronger KNX standard, TwinBus is still being produced and sold, especially in the realization of doorbell, intercom and gate systems in residential complexes and residential buildings.
