Thanks to an improved compression technology, in which the braid no longer has to be folded back, the plugs can be easily pushed onto the cable. This means they can be easily installed on types with a polyethylene (PE) jacket, which becomes very hard at low temperatures, without any tricks such as slitting or heating. The connectors can be pressed using a standard compression tool with a tensile strength of 236N/20kg, which ensures an optimal mechanical and electrical connection. They are also waterproof (30 m/8 h) and have a special coating that ensures a high level of corrosion protection. The FUP0729 can be used in a frequency range up to 3 GHz. It is suitable for mini coax cables with a dielectric diameter of 2.2-3.0 mm and an outer diameter of 4.3-4.9 mm and can be used for all multimedia applications thanks to its shielding dimension of >120dB.
