Cable box BET 110x335x270mm S90 BET110335 – WICHMANN BRANDSCHUTZSYSTEME – 4251636702035: BET cable box ''System Wichmann'' ® Z-19.15-202. Fire-resistant seals for cable ducts for casting into ceilings. Implementation and S90 fire insulation are created in one operation. The cable box consists of a galvanized sheet steel housing, lined with fire retardant that foams in the event of a fire. The fire barrier is functionally separate from the cold smoke seal and works independently of the seal. The functionality of the cable box is not interrupted during subsequent assignment work. The cable insulation is delivered as an industrially prefabricated, functional and ready-to-assemble component. The BET cable box is attached to the ceiling formwork on site and cast into the in-situ concrete. This procedure creates a recess for a cable installation shaft and a functional seal in one operation. Subsequent isolation is unnecessary. Incorrect and overcrowding are almost impossible due to the design. From a box width of 335 mm, a polystyrene block is included in the delivery. The interior of larger BET cable boxes should be stabilized with this Styrofoam element before pouring in the in-situ concrete so that the cable box does not deform when pouring. The included EasyFoam foam plugs are used to seal cold smoke. They have a significantly lower density and are therefore easier and quicker to process than, for example, fire protection plugs. The cables and housing are sealed with a permanently elastic sealant (e.g. silicone or acrylic) or with the EasyFoam fire protection mounting foam B1. With the additionally available sheet metal covers, the BET cable boxes can be protected when poured into in-situ concrete. The BET cable box must not protrude more than 60 mm on any side of the ceiling. Flush installation on one side is possible from a ceiling thickness of 210 mm. The cable box can be 100% occupied with, among other things, all types of cables (without limiting the cable diameter) and with empty electrical installation conduits in accordance with DIN EN 61386 with and without cable assignment up to a diameter of 63 mm. In addition, the sealed cable box can be installed as a reserve bulkhead without being occupied. When assigning, no gaps between cables, cables and empty pipes and empty pipes are necessary. There are no additional restrictions on cable types and cable diameters within the empty conduits. Also ideal for ceilings that have already been completed: Simply fix a formwork board under the opening provided for cable ducts, attach the BET cable box to the formwork and pour it into the concrete. Assembly is carried out in accordance with the enclosed assembly instructions or ABG Z-19.53-2517. No processor certification is necessary for installation.
